Diffuser Review – our honest opinions

I know how hard it is to try and decide on what diffuser you want, because we’ve been there and have both tried quite a few varieties in our quest to find the ‘perfect’ one…  Which is why we created this blog post for you, just to make your life that little bit easier…

When looking for a diffuser make sure you choose an ultrasonic diffuser (one that doesn’t use heat) as heat will damage your essential oils  converting the chemical constituents into different substances, changing the aroma, diminishing the beneficial properties, and possibly even increasing the risk for sensitivities.

There are many other diffuses to choose from, but these are some of the ones we have tried and tested.

Our advice is to do some of your own research as well and remember, you generally get what you pay for 🙂

Cons:
I’m sorry, but I really didn’t like this diffuser at all.
– Because it holds 1.3L of water it pumps out a LOT of mist, which made my bench and wall wet
– Essential oils are added to a felt pad, which is inserted in the bottom.  I needed to add a LOT of oil in order to smell any.
– I found it loud

Awesome review! Olive that you’ve given so many pro’s & con’s and have clearly tried these out (the lids being easy or hard to remove is handy info). Thanks for your reviews, I’ve been looking for a diffuser, now I just need to save up for one!

I have also tried a number of different diffusers and the Aroma Bloom is my favorite. I also have one from Sentsy which is very nice and lasts for up to 10 hours.

I love my aroma move on my desk at work, bought one for the car too but unfortunately the cord is not long enough to reach the cup holders (it can sit in centre console).
